Adding Products to LAC
A Product is an application that is sold as a specific version. For example, if you have an application that has been released as version 1.0 and an updated version that is released as version 2.0, each version would be a separate Product.
For each Product, you must have a separate license generator. You must specify what kind of license generator you want to use with your product. By default, License Activation Center is designed to run with the XML-based license generator for LM-X, xmllicgen.
For each Product, you specify:
- General information, such as product name and version
- The license generator to be used for the product
- The features that are included in the product
- One or more templates that predefine settings when creating licenses for the product
