  • Copy the lsmon.exe.file to the License Statistics installation directory.

You should check if the application can find all dll files, for example lsapiw32.dll, and  that they are located in the correct directories.

After copying the query tool, specify you should add its location in the License Statistics configuration. You can edit the path using the following steps:

  • Click the edit icon in the Realtime License Servers grid row for a given license server. An Edit License Server dialog opens that allows you to change the existing settings for that license server.
    Change the path.

 If you still have problems with lsmon query tool, make sure that you have all necessary dll files. For example, in some cases you may need lsapiw32.dll. More You can find more guidelines on how to resolve this issue can be found in your Sentinel RMS documentation.

This is not a License Statistics error, but rather indicates that your monitoring client is unable to communicate with your license server; for example, the lsmon query tool and license server versions may be incompatible. To resolve this problem, please contact your application vendor.
