License Statistics combines the data from HTTP monitoring and License Statistics Agent, and processes the data for displaying in the standard grids and reports in the License Statistics UI.
Monitoring Autodesk applications prior to 2020

For older applications (prior to 2020) only some action can be tracked: application start and drawing opened/saved. Different actions (like drawing changes without saving) does not create usage files which are used to monitor the application. If the user does that for more than 30 minutes without open/save application will stop being reported as used. In such case we recommend updating Autodesk application to newer version (2020 and above) where this limitation does not apply. |

In order to give the required permission follow the steps below.
- Open Desktop Analytics page
- Select the proper checkbox, click OK and restart the application
Monitoring Autodesk applications 2020 and above
License Statistics Agent uses dedicated service to track sessions accurately. Tracking does not depend on the Data collection agreement nor actions made by the users in the application.
