The information on this page refers to License Statistics v6.24 and newer, which redesigned removal of license servers and features. If you are using a version previous to v6.24, see documentation for previous versions.

When you remove a feature from License Statistics, all the license usage data for that feature is removed from the database.

If you do not want to remove the data, you may want to hide the feature instead, as described in Visibility settings.

Only features that have been inactive for at least 24 hours can be deleted.

Features cannot be deactivated manually, but become inactive when their license server is disabled or the license server stops delivering information about the feature; for example, if the feature has been removed from the license being hosted by the server.

To remove a feature being monitored by License Statistics:

  1. Navigate to the General Information panel in any report for a selected feature.
  2. Click the Delete icon in the upper right of the page to delete the currently selected feature. The Delete icon is not available (grayed out) for features that are still active.
  3. Click Yes from the confirmation dialog to delete the feature. The feature and all data for that feature is removed.
