To activate your license on Linux, you can either follow the instructions in Activating a License Statistics license online, or you can use the lacutil utility, which has the advantage of not requiring you to manually enter the HostID.
To use lacutil to activate your License Statistics license, from a command line, run:
./lacutil -activate activation_key
where activation_key is your License Statistics license activation key.
