Autodesk license usage is monitored using the License Statistics Agent add-on tool, because Autodesk is a cloud application that uses an external host. Usage statistics for Autodesk are derived from HTTP monitoring and usage data gathered by License Statistics Agent, which is combined to produce data for License Statistics.
HTTP monitoring of the Autodesk cloud platform is performed at https://manage.autodesk.com. (You must provide a valid username and password to perform this monitoring.) License Statistics uses License Statistics Agent to connect to the platform and gather data about licenses and products assigned to specific users. The online platform does not deliver data about actual usage, so License Statistics cannot determine specific users and times of license checkouts on the host running the Autodesk application.
