Administrative users can create and manage groups using the options under the Administration section in the left navigation pane.
You can query License Statistics data by groups of users, hosts, and license servers. For example, you can define user groups that specify types of users, such as the department the users are in, the platform they use, etc. Each user, host or license server can be included in as many groups as needed; they are not limited to a single group.
Groups can be specified in custom queries and can be selected in certain reports, such as Usage Per User report, to filter results by a chosen group.
For user groups, you can optionally connect to an LDAP server to import LDAP user groups.
