The License Statistics and License Statistics Agent tool's major and minor versions are compared upon startup for compatibility.
For example, for version "6.15.2":
- the major version number is "6" and must match
- the minor version number is "15" and some backward compatibility is supported (as detailed below)
- the micro version is "2" and is ignored
Differences in versions between License Statistics Agent and License Statistics is handled as described below. Version and Status information referred to in the below table is shown in the Agents page.
