Description

Name

The user's full name.

Email

The email address of the user, which also serves as the user's login name.

Active

Designates whether the user is allowed to log into the vendor area of LAC.

Blocked For For

users who have been deactivated, If a user attempts to login three times without a password, the user is blocked from further login attempts for 15 minutes, after which the user can attempt to login again. The Blocked For column displays the the number of minutes since the deactivation, which starts at that the user has been blocked from logging into LAC, beginning with 15 minutes and decreasesdecreasing to 0.  

Last Login Time

The last time the user logged into LAC. 

Creation Time

The time the LAC user was created. 

Role

The role of the user, which indicates the user's level of access to LAC.

The Action column in the User Management grid lets you edit the user details, including activating/deactivating the user, as described below. 

- by default it's always empty 
- if user tries to log in 3 times with wrong password, than his account is blocked for 15 minutes 
- 15 minutes is constant value inside LAC and can be changed only by us 
- because account is blocked for 15 minutes that is why it's value is decreasing from 15 min to 0 min 
- after that block time account is active again and user can try log in again 
- there is no way to disable this block from any gui panel (at least for now - temporary blocked user must wait for this 15 minutes - only exception is demo account which cannot be blocked that way)

To create a new user:

  1. Click Create User in the License Generators tab to open the Create New User dialog. 
  2. In the Create New User dialog, enter the user's first and last name.
  3. Enter the user's email address, which also defines the user's login name. 
  4. Select the role that specifies the user's level of access to LAC. Currently, the role is limited to Administrator. Additional roles will be added in the future.
  5. Click Save to create the user. You return to the User Management page, where you will see the new user has been added to the list of users.
  6. An email is automatically sent to the email address you specified with an activation link to let the user activate his account and set his password.
