If there are communication problems between the License Statistics Usage Client and the FLEXlm/FlexNet license server, you may see the following error in the License Statistics log file:

If the steps listed above do not resolve the problem, try to type the lmutil command to check the communication between the Usage Monitor and the license server, as specified in the License server issues section under Troubleshooting section. If there are errors in the communication problems between the license server and the Usage Monitor, running this command will return more information about them. If there are no errors, the command will return regular information about statistics for the indicated license server.
