The lsmon tool may not work with Sentinel RMS license server. To fix this problem, follow the instructions outlined in Installing License Statistics on Windows with a FlexNet Server. In addition, perform the following steps:

  • Go to the License Statistics installation directory and copy the lsmon.exe.file to the License Statistics folder.

To resolve this issue you can also try to change the path to the license manager's query tool . To edit an existing license server:

  • To edit an existing license server, click the edit icon in the Realtime License Servers grid row for a given license server. An Edit License Server dialog opens to allow you to change the existing settings for that license server.
    Change the query tool path.
     
     
  • If you still have problems with lsmon query tool, make sure that you have all necessary dll files. For example, in some cases lsapiw32.dll may be needed. More guidelines on how to resolve this issue can be foud in your Sentinel RMS documentation.
