Tip

As of License Statistics v6.17, the Linux installer automatically updates License Statistics and preserves all data and configuration settings. 

Upgrading License Statistics from versions prior to v6.17 to v6.17 and newer still requires a one-time manual upgrade, as done for all previous releases. 

  1. Back up the database using the License Statistics Manager.
  2. Follow instructions depending on whether your installation is for DEB distributions, RPM distributions, or a generic distribution (which also allows for a more customized installation).
  3. Revert the backed-up data.
