If there are communication problems between the Usage Client and the FLEXlm/FlexNet license server, you may see the following error in the License Statistics log file:

Detecting lmgrd processes...]
Error getting status: Cannot connect to license server system. (-15,570)
2009-06-30 17:31:00] WARNING: Unable to parse logfile for server @ServerName! Please make sure the server is up and available!

If the steps listed above do not resolve the problem, you can also:

  1. Type the lmutil command to check the communication between the Usage Monitor and the license server, as specified on the License server issues page in the Troubleshooting section.
