The License Servers section of the Dashboard lets you see which servers are being monitored and whether they are currently running.
If the server status is "Down," the server is either not running or there are communication problems between License Statistics and the server. In the latter case, see section 11, Troubleshooting for details on checking for communication errors.
The License Servers grid gives you information about each server, including the vendor being monitored, the type of license manager being used for the monitored software, and whether the license usage information is being gathered as realtime or imported statistics.
Imported statistics may include denied user reports, pay-per-use logs, and other imported data from a variety of license managers. Imported license server data you can view in License Statistics is limited based on the data in the imported log; therefore, some pages may be unavailable when viewing statistics for an imported license server. If a page is unavailable, the tab title is crossed out and the tab is not selectable, as for Denials in the following example.

The buttons in the Action column of the License Servers grid let you edit (see section 6.5.1, Editing license server information), hide (see section 6.7, Controlling visibility of license servers and features), or delete (see section 6.12.2, Removing license servers) license servers from License Statistics.
To see the license usage activity for a given server, click on the server name in the Server column. Details about license server activity are described in section 6.5, Viewing license server details.
