Some information on this page refers to License Statistics v5.2 or newer, which introduced new .jar parser files in addition to already existing .dll files. |
If you experience parser problems, try downloading the latest parser from the table below. For information about the latest release, see License Statistics v5.5.1 Release Notes.
Although we make every effort to ensure License Statistics works out of the box with all supported parsers, there are occasional issues with log files that cannot be parsed successfully. Therefore, this page provides you with fixes to parsers ahead of our regular release schedule. Some of these parser updates are not officially supported, so please use them only if you cannot wait for the next official release to obtain a particular parser fix.
Using .dll parsers
Before using any .dll parser file:
- Stop License Statistics. (See Starting and stopping License Statistics on Windows or Starting and stopping License Statistics on Linux.)
- Make a backup of the existing parser .dll/.so file.
- Replace the .dll/.so file with the one you can download from this page.
- Restart License Statistics.
Using .jar parser files
- Stop License Statistics. (See Starting and stopping License Statistics on Windows or Starting and stopping License Statistics on Linux.)
- Make a backup of the parsers.jar located in the License Statistics/parser/parsers.jar folder.
- Replace the parsers.jar with the newer version that you can download from this page.
- Restart License Statistics.
If you still experience problems after downloading the latest parser from this page, please run License Statistics in debug mode (see Enabling License Statistics debug logs), and then send us the zipped log directory after the parsing failure occurs.
