LAC is quick and easy to set up, with all administrative features available from the LAC web-based UI. To begin using LAC for license generation and activation, you:
- Define your products and features you will be licensing using LAC.
- Create one or more reusable license templates for each product, which defines license settings such as expiration terms, which features are included, required HostIDs, etc.
- Add information about your customers who will be purchasing your product.
To initially set up LAC, you define your products and license templates and enter your customer information. You can then begin creating licenses license orders for your end users.
