For installations older then v4.11.1 it's mandatory to update to v4.11.1 first, due to incompatible database migration system. Please contact X-Formation Support to obtain License Statistics v4.11.1 before following this procedure. |
- Back up the following files, located in the License Statistics installation directory by default:
- configuration file (xflicstat.cfg)
- license file (license.lic)
- 3rd party utilities (for example, query tools)
- Back up the database
- Stop License Statistics service.
- Remove the current installation.
Install License Statistics v4.11.1.
Info Do not run License Statistics yet.
- Import database (embedded - script, external - manual)
- Restore the license file (license.lic).
Restore the configuration file (xflicstat.cfg).
Start License Statistics.
Info Make sure the database was migrated properly and the application runs before you continue.
- Follow the instruction to update from v4.11.1 to the newest version .
