To see information about the number of activations you have available for use, go to the Activation tab in the Administration page.

There are three two different types of activations, depending on the LAC licensing you have.

Activations Type

Description

Free

Activations that are free each month.

Subscription

Activations purchased as a monthly subscription.

One-time

Activations purchased on demand anytime within 1 year from the purchase date.

The Activations grid gives the following information for each activation type:

The number of activations available upon the next reset date.

Free and Subscription

Activations Remaining

The number of activations that remain in the current cycle, which ends on the date given under Next Reset Date. License activations are used in the following order:

  • Free activations
  • Subscription activations
  • One-time activations

    Be aware that rehosting or reactivating a license will count toward the number of activations made, so will decrease the Activations Remaining count accordingly. License activations are used in the following order:

    1. Subscription activations
    2. One-time activations

    Utilization

    The percentage of activation utilization. For example, if you have 25 Free 100 Subscription activations and have used 20 80 of them, your utilization is 80%. This lets you see how quickly you are using your activations and whether you will have enough activations until the next reset/expiration date.

    Free and Subscription

    Next Reset Date

    The date that the next new monthly cycle begins, upon which the maximum number of activations allowed per month will be available.

    Free and Subscription

    Start Date

    The date the subscription was purchased.

    Subscription

    Expiration Date

    The date the subscription expires. (Set to Permanent for Free activations.) activations expire.
