- Back up the following files, located in the License Statistics installation directory by default:
- configuration file (xflicstat.cfg)
- license file (license.lic)
- 3rd party utilities (for example, query tools)
- Back up database (embedded - script, external - manual)
- Stop License Statistics service.
- Remove the current installation.
Install License Statistics v4.12.
Info Note: Do not run License Statistics yet.
- Import database (embedded - script, external - manual)
- Import Restore the license (backed up in Step 1file (license.lic).
Import Restore the configuration file (xflicstat.cfg).
Start License Statistics.
Info Make sure the database was migrated properly and the applications runs before you continue.
- Follow the update instruction to update from version 4v4.12 to the newest version .
