To activate your license on Linux, you can either can use the lacutil utility, or follow the instructions in Activating a License Statistics license online. The lacutil file is the preferred method is to activate the license online. However, you may alternatively activate the license using the lacutil utility, located in the License Statistics /license directory, as described below.
To use lacutil to activate your License Statistics license:
- From a command line, run:
./lacutil -activate -act_key activation_key
where activation_key is your License Statistics license Activation Key (sent to you via email). - Restart License Statistics (see Starting and stopping License Statistics on Linux for more information).
