License Statistics lets you connect to a User Directory server to access user accounts (see Connecting to a User Directory server) and user groups you have defined in a User Directory (see Importing User Directory user groups).
To access User Directory configuration settings, select User Directory under the Administration section. (This page is visible only for License Statistics administrator users.) See Connecting to a User Directory server for details on how to configure a User Directory using the configuration page (including automating user account creation).
License Statistics delivers three predefined User Directory configuration templates: Active Directory, LDAP, and LDAP with POSIX. Each configuration can be customized using schema settings.
