You can import existing debug logs as described in Importing license server data.
The Denied Requests Log works only with LM-X License Manager, FLEXlm/FlexNet, IBM LUM and Reprise License Manager (RLM), and is generated based on the denied user request data produced by the license server. For more information about the Denied Requests Log, see Denied Requests Log.
- To obtain denied request statistics for LM-X, configure LM-X to use Extended logging. This will generate a log file that contains the denied request data, which can be imported.
- To generate a Denied Requests Log for FLEXlm/FlexNet, you must have a FLEXlm/FlexNet debug log. The license server must be configured to store this log file. See the FLEXlm/FlexNet documentation for more information.
- To generate a Denied Requests Log for IBM LUM, you must use the i4blt command to capture the usage statistics from the IBM LUM server and generate the report; for example:
i4blt -r 1 > i4blt.log
Note: Each created log file must contain only the data from one server. Otherwise, it will not be possible to parse the data successfully.

- To generate a Denied Requests Log for RLM, you must have an RLM debug log. The license server must be configured to store this log file. See the RLM documentation for more information.
