The following sections describe the administrative functions of the LM-X web-based UI, which are located under the Administration tab, including:

• Managing licenses, including activating licenses and uploading license files
• Enabling and configuring HAL
• Enabling and configuring Pay Per Use
• Enabling and configuring license server logging
• Editing the license server configuration file
• Configuring settings for TCP, remote access and user removal

To ensure that the administrative functions are accessed only by authorized administrators, you must enter a valid password to open the Administration tab. The password is stored in the configuration file and can be seen when setting up the license server.
