To see a report on the collective user count for all realtime servers, select the Realtime User Count tab from the Reports page.

The Realtime User Count report includes a table and graph that show the number of Concurrent Hosts and Total Users on all realtime servers:

  • Concurrent Hosts is a count of unique hostnames that were concurrently active on all realtime license servers. License Statistics ensures that this value cannot exceed the limit of total users specified in the License Statistics license.
  • Total Users is a count of unique usernames that were using a license in the last 14 days. For example, if the report shows 10 total users for 2011-05-20, this indicates that there were 10 different users from May 7 through May 20 (inclusive) who used licenses on all the realtime license servers that License Statistics monitors. This count always shows the past 14 days of use; that is, it does not restart at zero again after 14 days.

Note: The Total Users count can be used to determine the number of users you are currently monitoring for License Statistics licensing. License Statistics is sold/licensed based on the number of users you need to monitor. If the number of users that your License Statistics license allows to be monitored is exceeded, License Statistics will continue to run, but will stop monitoring.

For more information about how the user count is determined, see How users are counted.
