If a FlexNet import log contains "orphaned" checkins (a checkin that references a checkout contained in an earlier log file), the log file data cannot be imported and you will see an error message such as: "Cannot import log file. Checkin from at line 177 references a checkout from an earlier logfile!log file. Merge the log files and try again." (where Where line 177 is the line that contains the orphaned checkin.).
You can try to To import the checkin information in such cases, merge the partial log files that contain the associated checkin and checkout data into one log file that contains complete checkin/checkout information, as described below.
