To download the LM-X SDK distribution:
- Enter the activation key provided by your vendor into the Activation Key field on the LM-X License Manager download page, then click Submit
- Choose the appropriate LM-X version you want to download.
- Follow the Download instructions
- Log into your X-Formation Support Portal account.
- Choose the appropriate product(s) and request the download.
- Unzip the downloaded LM-X SDK distribution. Before using the SDK, you must install it on your machine using the installation program, as described in the next section.
The file(s) you need to download for your LM-X SDK installation depends on which platform(s) you've purchased support for. For example, if you purchased support for Linux 64 bit and Linux 32 bit, you should download both lmx_v4.4.2_linux_x64.zip and lmx_v4.4.2_linux_x86.zip. For some platforms, the SDK installation is also specific to a particular compiler; for example, if you use Windows 32 bit with the Visual Studio 2010 compiler, you should download lmx_v4.4.2_win32_x86_VC2010.zip.
Note that you : You must have a proper license to use the file(s) you download. Failing Be sure to use the installation file that corresponds with the platform on which LM-X is installed. Failing to obtain a proper license will result in runtime errors when compiling the SDK.
The installers are named as follows:
For Unix: lmx-sdk-version-platform.sh, where version is the LM-X version number and platform is the operating system.
For Windows: lmx-sdk-version-platform.msi
