The License Servers section of the Dashboard lets you see which servers are being monitored and whether they are currently running.If the realtime license server status is "Down", the server did not send a response on time, or it sent a response by sending

| Down | The server did not respond within the query interval (see Additional Option tab settings under Adding and editing license servers), or the response contains data that cannot be parsed. |
| Up | The server responded within the query interval (see Additional Option tab settings under Adding and editing license servers), and the response contains data that can be parsed. |
| Unknown | The license server is imported (not realtime) or is part of a license server group (see Creating and managing groups). |

- The "Unknown" status of the license server applies only to groups of servers and imported usages.
The License Servers grid gives you information about each server, including the vendor being monitored, the type of license manager being used for the monitored software, and whether the license usage information is being gathered as realtime or imported statistics, and whether the server is redundant.
