The terms of your License Statistics license agreement include limits on the maximum unique users that can be monitored and the number of denied users that will be counted. (See Determining usage for License Statistics licensing for more information on how License Statistics counts users.) If

  • For realtime user monitoring, if you exceed the allowed user count, License Statistics will continue running, but will stop monitoring usage. The log will indicate that the maximum number of users you can monitor has been exceeded.

    If the user count is exceeded on a regular basis, you should either upgrade your license to allow you to monitor more users or reduce the number of applications you are monitoring.

  •  For denied user reporting, the log indicates when the maximum number of denied users is reached, and License Statistics will stop reporting denied users. 

    If the denied user limit is reached, you can either upgrade your license to allow you to monitor more denied users or remove one of your imported license servers that includes denials (however, this will remove all gathered data about that license server).
