With License Statistics v7.0, we introduce have introduced a new support policy, which includes support for 8 eight minor versions and all their bugfix versions back. It applies toprior to the current version. The support policy covers: 

  • availability of installers ' availability on the download portal
  • supporting direct updates (using the installers ( MSI, RPM, and DEBDEB  installers)
  • supporting support for database server versions to only those (must be currently supported by their the vendor)
  • supporting support for data migrations
  • support for new license generation (for supported versions only)
  • availability of providing phone and online help assistance by our the X-Formation Support Team

As a part of introducing a this new policy, as of License Statistics v7.0, installers before released prior to License Statistics v6.18 will not be available on the download portal, except for those required to provide a migration chain from older versions.

    Because License Statistics can no longer collect Autodesk cloud-based license information reliably and securely, the following Autodesk-related data will no longer be available in License Statistics reports:

    • Information about users assigned to licenses through Autodesk’s web interface
    • License details fetched directly from the Autodesk cloud

    This change affects only cloud-based monitoring of Autodesk licenses. You can still use License Statistics Agent to continue to collect detailed usage information about Autodesk software running locally on your Autodesk workstations.
