Before you begin your installation, please review all requirements and recommendations given below.
General requirements and recommendations
Note the following general requirements and recommendations:
- A network connection must be established between the host running License Statistics and the hosts running license servers.
- All necessary query tools and other license server-related applications must be installed on the host running License Statistics.
- Using a dedicated host for the installation is recommended.
- Rather than using the embedded MySQL database delivered with the installer, which is designed and optimized for smaller production environments and testing purposes, using an external MySQL database is recommended.
