To see information about the number of activations you have available for use, go to the Activation tab in the Administration page.

There are two different types of activations, depending on the LAC licensing you have.

Activations Type

Description

Subscription

Activations purchased as a monthly subscription.

One-time

Activations purchased on demand anytime within 1 year from the purchase date.

The Activations grid gives the following information for each activation type:

The number of activations available upon the next reset date.

Subscription

Activations Remaining

The number of activations that remain in the current cycle, which ends on the date given under Next Reset Date. Be aware that rehosting or reactivating a license will count toward the number of activations made, so will decrease the Activations Remaining count accordingly. License activations are used in the following order:

  1. Subscription activations
  2. One-time activations

Utilization

The percentage of activation utilization. For example, if you have 100 Subscription activations and have used 80 of them, your utilization is 80%. This lets you see how quickly you are using your activations and whether you will have enough activations until the next reset/expiration date.

Next Reset Date

The date that the next new monthly cycle begins, upon which the maximum number of activations allowed per month will be available.

The date the subscription was purchased.

Expiration Date

The date the activations expire.
