The following requirements apply to using the License Statistics Usage Client:

  • The License Statistics Usage Client is for Windows only.
  • A License Statistics Usage Client license (obtained from X-Formation).
  • The Usage Client uses a floating license, so you must have a working installation of X-Formation's LM-X license server, as described in section 10.1, Installing the add-ons.
  • The client applications you intend to monitor must be correctly configured to utilize the License Statistics Usage Client, as described in section 10.2.3, Configuring client applications to work with Usage Client.
