  1. Start License Statistics in debug mode. (See Enabling License Statistics debug logs for instructions on enabling debug mode.)

  2. Locate the command used to start the Apache web server in the xflicstat.log file; for example:

    [2012-04-01 08:00:00] XF_DEBUG: Starting Apache web server process: X:\licstat\apache\bin\httpd.exe -f "X:\licstat\apache\conf\httpd.conf" -d "X:\licstat\apache"

  3. Using this command, manually start the Apache web server and note any errors that occur. If errors indicate that the same http port is already being used by another application, refer to "Unable to open http server on port" error section, below.

Note: When using Linux, make sure all 32-bit compatible libraries are installed correctly, as described in Operating system and resource requirements. During installation, you will be informed which libraries are missing. If not all 32-bit libraries are installed, you may see one or more of the errors listed at the top of the page.

Note: Essentially, License Statistics does not support an Appache Apache web server that has a version older than the delivered one. Therefore, when you decide to use an Apache web server that has a version older than the delivered one, you should find a solution to a related problem on your own.
