After you take the steps necessary to edit or add a license server described in Adding and editing license servers, you may see the license server status can be one of the following definitions of the license server status:
| License Server Status | DefinitionDescriptions |
|---|---|
| Up | The current license server configuration is correct and the license server can be monitored successfully. |
| Down | The license server cannot be monitored successfully because its configuration is incorrect or there are parsing failures. |
| Disabled | The license server has been disabled in the license server configuration or cannot be enabled because you have reached your limit of license servers you can monitor. (For more details, see the information about the Enabled checkbox in the Adding and editing license servers, above). This status may also suggest that the attempts to enable the license server failed, or that there are problems with reading the configuration file for this license server when starting License Statistics. |
| Verifying | The license server is under verification after being added or edited. |
