You can add and configure license servers using the Realtime License Servers tab in the Administration page.
The License Server Configuration dialog lets you set the following options:In the General tab: Realtime License Servers page lists all currently configured license servers. You can edit an existing license server configuration by clicking the edit icon for the license server you want to change. To add and configure a new license server, click the Add New button at the bottom of the Realtime License Servers grid.
When you create a new configuration or edit an existing configuration, the can specify the following settings.
General

| Vendor daemon name | The vendor daemon name for the license server. This entry cannot contain spaces or special characters, except underscores, hyphens and periods. Applicable only for FlexNet and RLM license manager types. | ||
| Hostname | The license server hostname. This entry cannot contain spaces or special characters, except underscores, hyphens and periods. | ||
| Port Number | The license server port number. This entry defaults to 6200 for LM-X license manager. | ||
| Redundant | Check this box to specify that redundant servers are being used ( | Redundant | Redundant (specifies whether redundant servers are being used; for example, in LM-X you would check Redundant if you are using HAL) |
| Hostname | Hostname of the license server (if redundant, the hostnames for each of the three servers must be specified) | ||

. When Redundant is checked, you must enter the hostname and port number for all three servers. Applicable only for LM-X, FlexNet, BetaLM, IBM LUM, and GNS license manager types. |

| Query Interval | same as License Statistics data update interval in currenct documentation. We need to mention that its in minutes and value 1 should be choosen only for testing purpose. You can select 1, 2, 5, or 10 minutes as the update interval. The 1-minute interval should be used only for testing purposes. |
| Reader Timeout | same as Timeout setting for reader . If it's unchecked that means that is unlimited(Windows only). Leave this box unchecked to indicate that there is no timeout. |
| Anonymous Usernames/Anonymous Hostnames | same as Make users and hosts anonymous in database and HTML output (normally used to protect users for legal reasons, as is required in some countries)" in current documentation. |
