Before running the Usage Monitor service on License Statistics on Windows, be sure to edit the configuration file as needed for your site (see Configuring License Statistics).
To start the Usage MonitorLicense Statistics:
Select Start > Program Files > X-Formation License Statistics > Usage Monitor License Statistics > Start.
After starting the service, it runs automatically.
To view the statistics, go to http://hostname:port, where hostname is the name of the computer where License Statistics was installed and port is the http server port number specified in the License Statistics configuration file, as described in Configuring License Statistics.
To stop the Usage MonitorLicense Statistics:
Select Usage Monitor > License Statistics > Stop. You can then restart the service using Usage Monitor > License Statistics > Start again.
