The information on this page refers to License Statistics v6.0 1 and newer, which introduced a new user interface (UI)improved the organization of the Administration: Miscellaneous page. If you are using a version previous to v6.01, see documentation for previous versions. |
License Statistics administrators can configure settings for sharing anonymous information about how you use License Statistics. If sharing is enabled, your anonymous data is collected and sent to X-Formation for the purpose of improving the quality of the product. By default, the collection of anonymous usage statistics is disabled.
After you log in, the License Statistics web application opens to the Dashboard page. Unless you have already configured this setting, we will then ask you to decide whether you agree to participate in the collection of anonymous information on how you use License Statistics. You can also change your decision later, as described in "Enabling or disabling the collection of information," below.

Enabling or disabling the collection of information
You can change your data sharing settings enable/disable information collection at any time using the Miscellaneous page under the Administration section. by toggling on/off the "Share anonymous statistics" option, located under the Agreements area of the Administration: Miscellaneous page. (This page is not visible to non-administrative License Statistics users.)
If you do not enable information collection as described above, you will be asked whether you agree to participate in anonymous information collection whenever you log into License Statistics for the first time after a fresh installation. After you respond to this prompt, it will not appear again until License Statistics is reinstalled (and will not appear if you have toggled on information collection, as described above)From the Miscellaneous page, toggle the "Share anonymous statistics" checkbox as desired to enable or disable sharing your usage statistics.
