The License Server Configuration dialog lets you set the following options:

In the General tab:

Name Display name of license server
License Manager Type

The type of license manager you are using for the license server. Additional configuration settings are available depending on the selected type; for example: 

  •  Vendor daemon name (allowed/denied/optional)
  •  Redundant (allowed/denied) 
  •  Hostname  
  •  Port 
  • Query Tool Path 
Redundant

Redundant (specifies whether redundant servers are being used; for example, in LM-X you would check Redundant if you are using HAL) 

Hostname

Hostname of the license server (if redundant, the hostnames for each of the three servers must be specified) 

PortPort for the license server (if redundant, a port must be specified for each of the three servers)

In the Additional Options tab: 

To access license server configuration options, click Administration at the top of the License Statistics web page to access the License Server Configuration tab. (Note: You must have License Statistics administrator privileges to use the user management features of License Statistics. If you do not have administrator privileges, you will not see an Administration link at the top of the License Statistics web page.)
