Normally, the license expiration date is controlled while perfor= ming the checkout operation. However, in cases where a feature remains chec= ked out continuously for a long period of time, this method of checking for= license expiration may allow a license to be used past its expiration date= .
To avoid license over-usage for such applications, we recommend that you= check the value returned by the LMX_GetExpireTime API function periodically. This function gives = you information about the number of hours remaining before the feature expi= res. When the value becomes -1, the feature is expired and you can stop the= software. To continue running the software, the user must obtain a new lic= ense.
